MOT's
What is MOT and what it mean
Your MOT is one of the most important things you need to remember when owning a car, alongside a service.
Without one, you will likely be breaking the law. During the MOT, important parts on your vehicle will be
checked to make sure they meet the legal standards which are set by Ministry Of Transport (MOT).
You can watch the test from a viewing area but you’re not allowed to interrupt the tester. The test
takes aproximatelly 50 minutes and you can wait in our waiting area while test taking place.
The MOT tests some important items on your vehicle to check that they meet the legal standards.
It isn’t the same as having your vehicle serviced and doesn’t check its general mechanical condition.

Diagnostics
Worrying warning light or fault code appeared on your dashboard? We can help.
Hi-Tech Engineering use the latest state-of-the-art car diagnostic test equipment to help troubleshoot system
warnings and check engine lights to identify issues early before a possible component failure occurs.
Our diagnostic equipment checks for faults with engine management, electrical systems, lights, emissions etc.
Our technicians can then assist with advising you of any recommended repairs to fix the problem, reset the engine management or warning light and prevent further damage in the future.
The standard diagnostic check can take up to 1 hour. However, if additional time is required to complete
the diagnostic check, we will contact you for further work approval and this will be charged at £60 per hour including VAT. If a repair or replacement is needed, a no-obligation quote will be provided and repair caried out upon your approval.

we offer air con services for all kinds of vehicles. Having this service will help your vehicle stay cool
during the warmer months of the year. Our knowledgeable mechanics can service your air con system in a timely
manner and will ensure that it’s working properly. Services we offer:
